(Unnecessarily, he can incremently adjust their position while doing so.) Obviously if the Lucas is aware of this he'll make it terribly difficult to get grabbed, but DK has significant advantage elsewhere, even if he considers the infinite for only the obvious windows.ĭK has an easier time edgeguarding Lucas w/ B.air and UpB, and if he can just edgehog.he can usually guarantee a GiantPunch or, at worst, a free D.smash. Cargo-reset infinite into d.smash is terribly easy to learn. DK needs a single grab to guarantee a stock loss. No projectile and/or often forced to be aggressorįor a Lucas player to not make any mistake is the only way I can see this match not impossible for him to win. Serious blind spots in air: in front and below Tons of gimmicks: 9-wind, cargo spike, forwardB, downB, Invincible UpB Good edgeguarder: b.air, UpB edge hogging/spiking Great KO options: giant punch, d.smash buffered from airdodge or oos, fresh b.air/upair Large, reaching hitboxes: b.air, d.smash, tilts Superweight +great recovery + difficult and dangerous to gimp UpB and Giant Punch: superarmored, huge damage ![]() I post them now, for any significant disagreement/questioning that would invite good discussion for a more solid consensus. These are my initial thoughts most definitely to be edited as I consider each one more in depth later. ![]() so this will also serve as temporary notes - surely to be edited many times. AlphaZeaLot: -3 (infinite)/-1 (no infinite)ĮDIT: I will be extensively discussing matters with established sources on the DK forums.
